Belhaven Public Library
After the original library sustained severe damage due to hurricanes from 1996 - 1998, the Directors determined that expansion was no longer feasible and that a new building would need to be constructed. EDA's Architects and Engineers designed a new elevated building to provide much needed additional space as well as to protect the library from future flood damage. The library was a community effort & includes a hand painted porch floor & a stained glass window highlighting the history of Belhaven.
