Cumberland County Central Library

In June of 1986 Cumberland County opened it's Central Library, a key downtown redevelopment project. Today, it continues to be recognized as one of Cumberland County's most outstanding public facilities.

EDA provided programming, design and construction administration for this 80,000 square foot facility which was designed to centralize three area libraries into one downtown location. This state-of-the-art facility houses a foreign language area, computer areas, research, education, culture, and reference information centers. It also provides children with an after school study program and entertainment center.
