Carteret County Health & Human Services
EDA performed an assessment in Morehead City of an old 40,000 square foot A&P store and the attached mercantile facilities to determine the feasibility of renovating them into the County's Health Department, the Transportation Division (CCATS) and Neuse Mental Health Clinic. EDA interviewed and successfully blended numerous divisions of the Health Department, some of which had never worked together in one building.

A secondary benefit to this new facility will be that it will free up much needed parking on the existing Courthouse Square located in Beaufort when the current Administration Building is abandoned. EDA evaluated, programmed, designed, and is oversaw construction. The project was on time and under budget. |
