Morehead City Primary School

Completed in 1994, this project involved programming, design and construction administration services for the new 117,000 square foot school. This facility includes 45 classrooms, media center, physical education, multipurpose area, cafeteria and dining facilities, as well as administration and support areas.

The 6,589 square foot library is fully computerized and temperature controlled from a remote location. Serving approximately 800 students, its interior dimensions were extended by an adjoining exterior courtyard for outdoor reading and learning.

Site design plans for the 33 acre site included landscaping, drainage, utilities and extensive parking, and met all current wetland regulations.
