The Watercraft Center, part of the NC Maritime Museum is a very interesting building where boat building heritage is preserved. The building is in character with the historic surroundings of the waterfront of Beaufort and is built half on land and half over Taylor's Creek. The building offers space to both the NC Maritime Museum and to boat buildings activities.
